Becker CPA Review

Last Professional meeting, we had the opportunity to have a “hands on” experience with Becker CPA
review. They were willing to come and explain to us how the CPA exam was structured, and how to use their program to prepare ourselves for this door opening exam.

Becker allowed us to see their practice test to show us how the test will look. There will be four
parts to the test: Financial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Auditing, and Business Strategy.

The exam has changed a bit so that there are situation questions on the first three parts, and a writing
portion in the last one. This is great news for those that do not like writing essays.

The functionality of the test program and the test itself are great. Although the calculator and
spreadsheet functions are not what people are used to, the test allows the screen to be split to see
multiple potions of the test when working out a problem. A couple of runs through the practice test will
be really beneficial to anyone who takes the time to do so.
